Richard Higgins began his exploration
of personal growth, esoteric and metaphysical subjects at the age of 21.
During the last 30 years has been exposed a wide spectrum of teachers and many belief systems.
In parallel with his career as a film and television producer and director Richard studied the work of many metaphysical teachers, and has interviewed or met amongst others Neale Donald Walsh; Deepak Chopra; Diane Cooper and David Icke.
He has studied Gregg Braden's work; Drunvalo Melchizedek's Flower of Life teachings; and Gary Smith's Sacred Merkaba Techniques. He learnt Shamanic work from, amongst others, Michael Owen of the Twisted Hair tradition, and with Incan Shamans from Peru. Richard met J.Z. Knight and worked with Ramtha’s School of Enlightenment both in Seattle and in South Africa. He also co-authored the South African best selling numerology book Human Pin Code in 2002. By returning to the basics of Numerology, Creation Theory and Sacred Geometry, he has since developed his own unique method called Transpersonal Numerology.
After three decades n the film and television industry, Richard closed his production company to devote himself full time to his Numerology and to Family Constellations - the work developed by German psychotherapist Bert Hellinger. He facilitates workshops through his Family Healing Circle and also offers training in both modalities.

Things Are Hotting UP!
Do you think the idea that the British start almost every conversation by talking about the weather is a cliché?
Let me assure you that it is not!
So in that fine tradition – let me talk about the weather!
The last few days of September were filled with cloudless blue skies and unseasonably warm highs of up to 29 degrees. Today is October 1st and the day is once again warm – but the skies are no longer blue. Instead they are crisscrossed from horizon to horizon by a grid of Chemtrails!
Chemtrails are not something one sees in South Africa, so when I first witnessed them in Germany some years ago, I was quite startled. But not nearly as shocked as when we arrived in the UK earlier this year, and observed the massive blanketing of Chemtrails that was taking place everywhere we drove.
Although I have been a truth explorer for many years and believe I have an above average understanding of what is really happening on our planet, I don’t usually share my ideas in these editorials. This is mainly because I look for themes that readers will hopefully find helpful and life expanding. And – to be honest – a great many people don’t actually want to know what is really going on. It is simply too much for them, over and above the challenges of daily life, and who can really blame them?
Sometimes I wish I could do the same – but I can’t!
Once you have opened Pandora’s Box, you can’t shut it again!
So just this once, I am going to touch on the subject of the world’s criminal Elite, because it is relevant to the idea I will share with you later on – and you may have had a similar dilemma, so please indulge me if you can!
If you investigate all that is really going on in the world through the military/industrial/banking/pharmaceutical/political thugs and gangsters that have hijacked every angle of our sovereignty, you realise sooner or later that life as we know it is terminal! And that can be a really terrifying thought! But unfortunately it can no longer safely be denied, and even the most ardent “ostrich” can not longer remain oblivious to how the banksters who own the world governments are intentionally collapsing the economy and stealing as many people’s wealth as possible. After all, it’s on the evening news every night now!
As someone who was previously involved in current affairs television, it was shattering for me to come to the UK and realise how the mainstream news media is almost totally complicit in the misinformation campaign. I didn’t have DStv in South Africa - and I find SABC News totally unwatchable – so for many years I’ve gleaned most of my information from the alter-native media on the Internet. And of course I know how controlled the media is all over the world, having experienced it personally while working at the SABC. But it was still absolutely shattering to see that icon of broadcasting – the BBC – spewing out such rubbish, night after night.
And the BBC is the most watched news channel in the UK!
To watch blatant war criminals invade and occupy another sovereign country and then to pass it off as some heroic, humanitarian deed exposes just how sick our society is. And were there any dissenting voices? Anyone prepared to speak out about the hypocrisy of the Libyan invasion? Anyone prepared to demonstrate?
“What for mate? Not when we’ve got so many mindless game shows, chat shows and talent contests to flick over to straight after we’ve seen how many people our troops took out today!”
This is a cloudless day - these are all dispersing Chemtrails
If you have read this far, you might well be tempted to stop at this point.
I understand - it all becomes too much! That is exactly what happened for me. The amount of evidence about what is really going on in the world became totally overwhelming, and I found myself in great danger of descending into a deep and terminal depression.
"What can I do about all of this? What can any one person do?"
"This is too big!!!!"
I urgently needed to do a meditation and set up a very strong intention for what I could do to change the state in which I found myself.
The question I posed was:
“How can I remain emotionally detached from what is going on in the world, but still function with relevance and an open heart?”
The answering image came quickly, along with a whole slew of insights.
As a young boy I’d spent many hours playing Chess against my Dad and my Uncle Alf, so it was easy for me to see the relevance of this somewhat obvious seeming analogy. At the beginning of a Chess Game one person holds a black pawn in one fist and a white pawn in the other fist, and the opponent selects one of the fists. It is then revealed whether he will be playing with the black pieces or the white pieces.
At no stage is it suggested that it is better to get the black pawn, or better to get the white pawn. It is simply a choice. If both players have white pieces, then there can be no contest!
Now as the game starts, let’s be clear!
BOTH OPPONENTS WANT TO WIN!
Why would anyone want to play a game and lose?
Each player also wants to come up against a worthy opponent - so that the victory is not hollow. The match referee is going to think a player is a real wimp if he claims that he is “right” and the other person should be disqualified because he is “wrong”. Because then we wouldn’t get the experience of playing the actual game Dude!
So why don’t we try and see our current reality
as a type of Cosmic Chess Game?
Probably everyone reading this editorial
will be a White Pawn, and those whom
we have identified as the lackeys and
stooges of the Elite, will be Black Pawns.
One of the Castles can represent Business,
the other one Education.
One Knight will represent the Military;
the other one Intelligence Agencies.
One Bishop represents Religion,
and the other one the Media.
The Queen represents Politicians
and Monarchs.
And the King will represent Banking.
Corner the King and it's “Check Mate!”
Now of course, none of these pieces can move by themselves – they are all manipulated by unseen hands. The pawns are moved first. They are dispensable and are used as cannon fodder and to lure the opponent into a trap. If by some miracle a pawn survives and breaks through the lines to the other side, he is upgraded and welcomed into the hierarchy. From there he can do even more damage “behind enemy lines”.
One of the early strategies of the Black Bishops was to insist that White play by the rules, and that they would be rewarded for doing so at the end of the game. Later they injected yet more disinformation by saying that, “the referee would step in and rescue the White Pawns if things got too difficult and they had continued to play fairly.”
And so White kept losing pawns and kept being threatening with "Check!”
But White continued to play fairly, despite Blacks tactics becoming increasingly more devious and dishonest. Occasionally some of the pawns would wail that things were “unfair”, but they would be reminded that "rescue" was never far off!
Are you getting the picture? “Unfair” is not in Black’s vocabulary!
It has always made me extremely angry how callously the Elite could kill and maim anyone who got in the way during their gluttonous orgies of greed and power. But this image of a Chess Game really helped me – and I’m hoping it will do the same for you.
You see – they are just doing their job!
That is what they were selected for!
We wouldn’t have any heroes if there are no antiheroes to go up against.
We couldn’t show our capacity for compassion in a world with no pain.
And we couldn’t open our hearts to develop the empathy that comes from seeing too many children with their limbs blown off by landmines, or their skin stripped off by napalm, without all the wars.
We have a worthy opponent, and we need to measure up!!!!
I could also neveraccept why the military and politicians, in particular, are such consumate liars. But think about it!
Would your opponent in a Chess Game tell you what he is really planning?
Of course not!
Would he sacrifice some of his pawns in order to trap your King?
Like a shot!
It’s all part of the game! Loosing a couple of thousand of your own “pawns” in order to earn billions from a trumped up “War on Terror” is cheap at the price for them!!! So this is why the Elite do what they do – they play the game! And they play to win – no matter the cost.
And is it about the money? No! No! No! My Dear Watson!" They’ve got more than they know what to do with. And if they need more they can simply print it – or steal it – whichever seems like more fun at the time!
It is about POWER! It is about WINNING!
There is no second place in a Chess Game! Black is shooting for “Check Mate”. White is hoping to pick up the “Nicest Person in the Class" Award!
But Black is getting overly arrogant – and he is getting sloppy!
His moves are becoming evermore predictable! And he is exposed!
It is time for us to wake up!
It is time for us to get into the game!
It is time for a new strategy!
I can't tell you the strategy in a open forum - but much is happeneing behind the scenes all over the world! So what this space!
But if you ponder what the White Chess pieces can do in opposition to their Black counterparts, you'll see some interesting possibilities emerge.
And I’ll give you one more important clue.

Our dear friend and colleague Maggie Seiler passed over on 14th July.
While we were deeply saddened by the news, Ronnie and I feel truly blessed to have shared a small part of this Earth Walk with such an inspiring and dedicated soul.
Maggie was always a great supporter of all my workshops and Shamanic weekends. She encouraged me to take Family Constellations work into new communities and gave me the opportunity to train in Eco Therapy.
I will always be deeply grateful to you Maggie!

Introduction:
It has become increasingly apparent to me in recent months that there is a natural synergy between the ancient spiritual tradition of Shamanism and the modern systemic approach we use in Family Constellations. I am fascinated by the possibility of incorporating more of the rituals found in Shamanism into our contemporary ancestral work – and the possibly of enriching it with a deeper relevance and reverence.
There has been a fast growing interest in Shamanism in recent years, as well as a burgeoning curiosity to learn about our ancestors. We see this in the great number of individuals studying their family genealogy and the many television programmes on the subject. Now - as the Mayan Fifth World dawns - it really is time to reconnect and heal with our ancestors, and to remember our deep connection to our beautiful planet.
Course Content:
This Shamanic Intensive will not be presented in the highly structured format of my Basic Family Constellations Training Intensive. Instead I will be creating the “vessel” in which this learning and experiencing can take place - which is a much more Shamanic approach. Great Spirit’s instruction to me when I first started facilitating Family Constellations workshops was to, “Just show up!” By arriving without any preconceived ideas or desires the Field was able to present us with far more expanded insights and opportunities than I could ever have dreamt up. And so I will continue with that tradition!
That having been said, delegates will be investing a lot of time and money in this workshop so it is necessary to give an idea of what may be included.
Course Elements:
Drumming and Shamanic Journeying
I open all Family Constellations workshops with a meditation, as I believe it enhances the work immensely. But as Drumming and Journeying are both fundamental to Shamanic work, this will be introduced and experienced at the start of each day.
We will Journey into the Upper World, Middle World and Lower World on consecutive mornings to the live beat of a frame drum. This is a technique which can be used as a daily practise, so all delegates will receive a drumming CD to take home.
Basic Theory of Family Constellations
Each training session will begin with a short recap of one of the basic tenants of Family Constellations work. This is not only for the benefit of those who are new to this modality, but will serve as a refresher for those who trained previously. It is my experience that whenever we revisit the basics, the Field invariably provides some fresh new perspective. The composite energy of every group is different, so even the most basic of exercises done in a new setting can provide amazing new insights.
Being Heard!
One of the recurrent themes in Family Constellations is that of “not being heard” or “not having a voice”, and many is the time when we have guided a client to the point where they could release a primal scream – much to the consternation of our dogs!
But is there a more elegant way of guiding someone to find their own voice?
We will explore the use of throat singing as a Shamanic tool and how we can use our voice to raise our own vibrations and thereby join in the sounds of the universe.
Being Stuck!
A common condition mentioned by clients who come to Constellations is the feeling of being “stuck” in their lives. Colleagues and students will remember how often we encountered this in the Field, and how challenging it could sometimes be to get the family system back “into flow”.
I have long felt that the lack of physical movement within the framework of a traditional Family Constellations workshop could be a limiting factor – especially considering how much of the residual energy from trauma and pain is often held in the body.
The Trance Dance and the Medicine of Movement are important components of Shamanic wisdom, and so I intend for us to explore the power of movement and how it can awaken the life force within us, within the framework of a Family Constellation.
Being Cursed!
It is not unusual for a constellations client to say something like, “I think there is a curse on our family.” We have often traced this back to an “ill-gotten gain” or a murder within the family. Shamanism acknowledges that there are curses that play out in our current lifetime, and they call out to be recognised and resolved. These curses bind us to our ancestors in a destructive way, and so we will experience a Shamanic ceremonial journey that will set us and our ancestors free.
Belonging
Probably the most important principle of Family Constellations is that everyone in the family system has an “equal right to belong”. Truth is “inclusive” not “exclusive”, and Shamanic wisdom understands our interconnectedness with each other as well as our planet - and all the species that share it with us. We will explore rituals and processes that support our need for a “sense of belonging”, and which promote a Global Family.
What of My Future!
Most of us are at times concerned about - or at the very least unclear of – our future. But what if we were able to move forward in time and see our true place in the world?
Shamanism enables us to reach out into the unknown and to ask for divine guidance for what lies ahead. We will explore the possibility of stepping into our own futures - guided by the wisdom of our higher-selves - and then to move back into the present with a clearer picture of what we can achieve.
The Shamanic Death
As outlined in my editorial alongside, I have recently gone through what I came to realise was a type of Shamanic Death. I have subsequently received lots of feedback from others who have gone through the same experience recently - although the circumstances have varied greatly. This is arguably one of the most important rituals for us to explore at this time in our history, as we face the possible death of our species as we know it, and our rebirth into the Golden Age. Only by facing our own mortality are we truly free to live – this death and resurrection process has been the theme of a great many myths. So we will explore what it means:
To die as the modern man or woman,
and to return as the universal man or woman.
Personal Processes
This workshop will not only provide new techniques and experiences, but also the opportunity to do our own process work – because as we all know, “the onion is rarely ever fully peeled!” And within the loving safety and support of our Circle, the Field will guide us to where the need is the greatest.
In Conclusion:
I must make it clear that some of these techniques and ideas are new to me, and others I will be learning and experiencing between now and when we meet. I see this Intensive very much as a co-creation process where the inherent wisdom of the group will guide us to new understandings and experiences.
So let us gather together then; to share our stories; to be the balm for each others wounds; to be each others reflections and to bathe in each others light.
I will bring the treads, but together we will weave a new future as we envelop each other in a tapestry of Conscious Co-creation.

I'm not going into what Chemtrails are, or are not, so if you have never heard of them I'll leave the decision on whether to investigate them with you.
But don’t be embarrassed if you haven’t heard of them before – that is only because the controlled media has done its job well – and I’ve met hardly anyone in the UK who knew what I was talking about when I spoke about Chemtrails – even though they have been evident in the skies for years.
If I do get a response it is something along the lines of, “Yes, but those are just vapour trails from increasing numbers of jets!” Yeah right!!!!
Even more depressing to be honest, was the retort of a fairly enlightened friend who said, "Yes, but they actually look quite pretty!”
Lord help us!!!
I was shown a huge gathering of Souls who’d gathered because they’d heard there was a new experiment about to take place in the Cosmos – an experiment in Duality. Volunteers where needed in large numbers, and everyone’s arm shot into the air, accompanied by enthusiastic cries of “Me! Me! Pick me!”
The convenor waved the huge gathering into two halves before picking up a small white statue, and then a small black statue, which he held behind his back. Quickly he swapped them from hand to hand, until he himself didn’t know which statue was in which hand.
Then quite suddenly he thrust out his fist towards the one half of the gathering and said, “You will represent this polarity!” And he opened his hand to reveal the Black King. A tremendous roar of approval enveloped the area.
Then he held up his other fist to the remaining half of the gathering saying,“You shall represent this polarity!” And he opened his hand to reveal the White King. Once again the crowd roared its pleasure.
And so the contest commenced!
